Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zuluu mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Zuluu. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at zuluuapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. License to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid subscription: Zuluu is a paid app available through monthly or yearly subscription plans. Use of the Service requires an active subscription.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• How to cancel: manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their policies. We don't process refunds directly.
• Pricing changes: we may change prices for new billing periods with prior notice.

5. Voice recordings — rights and responsibilities

• You own your voice. You retain all rights to the voice samples you record and to the audio generated in your voice. We do not claim ownership over your voice or the audio we produce for you.
• License to operate the Service. You grant Zuluu a limited license to process your voice samples solely to create your voice clone, generate affirmation audio for you, and provide the Service. We do not use your voice to train shared or public models.
• Cloning others. You may only create a voice clone of yourself or of another person who has given you explicit, informed consent. Cloning a voice without consent is strictly prohibited and may violate the law.
• No impersonation or fraud. You must not use the Service to impersonate someone, deceive others, harass, or commit fraud.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or regulation.
• Infringe anyone else's rights.
• Use the Service to generate content that is harmful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise objectionable.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Bypass security or rate limits, scrape data, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or generated audio.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for conduct that violates these Terms.

7. Third-party services

Zuluu relies on third-party providers (including ElevenLabs, Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, Apple, and Google). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we don't control.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Zuluu name, logo, app design, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

9. Wellness disclaimer

Zuluu is a wellness and self-improvement tool. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zuluu and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Zuluu harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, including any voice you cloned without proper consent.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if it becomes impractical to continue providing the Service.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zuluu is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you other rights.
